Soul strip

Some nights…

Some nights are for undressing your soul.
Layers and layers.
Dissecting the lies,
Pushing back the curtains of falsehood
and letting Light in.

Some nights are for being kind to yourself.
Where kindness = embracing responsibility.
Some nights are for truth and dare,
where the only dares are to face your lies…

Some nights are for undressing your soul
And allowing your spirit dance with your Father again…
Some nights your biggest lie will be saying “I love you” to yourself.
Because your heart will remind you that it has loved a better version of you.

On those nights when all you want is a loving embrace and a kind heart to listen,
May you remember that
Father had said “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”

Amen.

Ps: Have you ever had those nights?
