Holy week: Endings, beginnings.

Ufan (Friend),

Yesterday, I intended to write to you about a friend, Sylvie, she’s a nurse-in-training, who shared goodwill yesterday for the doctor’s day celebration, but, I didn’t get her consent in time. Maybe, sometime else I’ll share.

This evening, I’m a bit dampened by the announced industrial action of Resident doctors and house officers, by the risk of subliminal health care for patients and the increased mortality rate that accompanies this season.

I’m consoled that there is hope in Jesus; the Jesus whose death and resurrection we’re celebrating this season. The Jesus of love. Jesus of compassion. I find it intriguing that Easter is here again. Easter I’ve waited so long for…

I feel detached from myself in some ways tonight. I hate that there’s so much pain in the world, and that as a believer, I am doing nothing, besides being pained.

I want to say all believers should rise and work, and stop the façade of training, but, I cannot; but, then, is this everlasting training important? Did God intend for us to learn on the job or otherwise?

My head is in a hundred places of pain tonight. And yet, there’s peace that comes from hope, because hope is the sun for us. We cannot not hope.

As we begin April, I pray for better days, fulfilling nights and rewarding weekends.

May your efforts yield multiplied results.

I love you.

Emem ye ifure. 💜

Happy Doctors day!

Hey, boo. Show a doctor some love today. 💜

And if you’re one, you know you’re the real MVP right?

I love you sky bigggggg!

Doctors go through the most risk for the most uncomely persons and yet, they’ll gladly do it over and again.

Thank you for spreading health and wholeness.

You deserve peace.

Emem ye ifure. 💜
