Hello, ALian. 💜
How had the past week been for you?
On my part, I’ve had one of the most exciting moments in this week, beginning from Monday. First, I have slept better this week and woke earlier, stronger, refreshed.
Every day of this week (besides Saturday when I woke late), I have woken in the early hours to meditate, pray and clear my head. It helped me multiply productivity in no small way.
I dusted my school books and have started on reading stretches again. ☺
On Monday, I had a beautiful time in class, and an amazing learning experience. I also downloaded a meditation app, Inner hour, it helps me focus and find peace.
On Tuesday, I listened to Pastor Judah Smith on the Churchome podcast, where he shared on how the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs in and is saved. He shared how God, through our faith in Jesus, saves us, when we call the name of Jesus.
And, everytime we call the name, we remind ourselves that God is Saviour and we are not.
This beautiful reminder had been on my mind all through last week, and has shaped my outcomes in no small way.
Judah Smith encourages us to say “thank you, Jesus”, even when we’re participating in an addiction we’ve been struggling with, to remind ourselves that we are not our Saviour, and I hope to depend more on Jesus in this new week.
On Wednesday, God calmed my fears from Zephaniah 3:17.
Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

On Thursday, I had an amazing conversation with my roommate.
A 3-hour long conversation. Yay! This conversation started from water o, I was drinking cold water, then Bree mentioned how cold water is refreshing, and that even God says he doesn’t like lukewarm water. Then she asked why God would prefer cold water to warm water. I told her we could look it up, omo, that’s how the 3 hour Bible study session started! 😂
Bree was sharing and I was sharing and, mehn, I felt God’s presence wrap me in a bear hug, most beautiful part of my week. ☺
I’ll complete this in a bit. Keep your eyes peeled.
