December!

Dear ALian, it’s December 1st; World AIDS day.

Noteworthy:
1. Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) is a thing. Not popularised, yes, but still a viable option.

2. Needle pricks, vertical transmission (mother-to-child), contact of broken skin with body fluids of affected persons are legit transmission modes. Not every person living with AIDS is/was promiscuous. Stop the stigma already.

3. HIV/AIDS is not a death sentence. Find a support group.

4. Jesus still does miracles!

Have a beautiful December! And yes, I’ll write you some more this month.

Every entry is an attempt to remind you that peace and wholeness are attainable. I hope you find home here, and I hope, like me, that you fancy dodo, bread and brown pages. Subscribe already. ❤️
