Spoiler alert: If you, by any chance, hate mirrors, the content in this blog may upset you.

But, if you—like me—appreciate a good mirror, for all its worth, here’s a hug. You’re at the right place because this is a health mirror.

My name is Glory Joseph, the lounge’s curator. Family members—like you—call me Adiaha; it means first daughter. (My dad calls me the fancy and complete version, but it’s exclusive. Don’t ask. Lol.)

In this place, you will find humor on some days, and on others, usurping information. You will ache from laughter sometimes, and have sobs wrack your chest at others. You will live a hundred lives, and fit a thousand shoes, in these entries. Some will leave you happy; some, angry; some, motivated; some, indifferent; but, one thing is certain, your mind WILL be healthier in the end.

I don’t know it all, so if that’s who you’re looking for, next door, please. Lol. In this space, I’m not a “coach”, not a “professional xyz”, just human, at peace and content to share her humanity in minute doses, as much as she can.

I will take you through the roller-coaster that is my life, unfiltered on most days, and in silence on some others.

Fabian (the Jesus writer) writes our poetry and he’s such a fine writer. He’s our sole contributor at the time of this writing.

As a final note, the World Health Organization (WHO) says health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. So, then, welcome to your home; our home, dear ALian. ✌️

(And, you are ALian, because, in a world with so much noise, you choose peace, serenity and health.) 💜
