2 years!

My blog entered its third year today.

In these two years, two beautiful things have happened to me on this journey:

  1. Falling in love with my art…because, if not, why not? Lol.
  2. Losing labels.

When I started writing I was called a ‘content creator’, when I started my blog it became ‘blogger’, the days I wrote a copy, ‘copywriter’; when I wrote an article, ‘writer’; when I shared a story, ‘storyteller’; and a variety of other fancy names.
Today? I’m none of the aforementioned. Lol.

I am Glory Joseph and listening to stories is my favourite thing to do. In these two years of journaling my stories, via my blog and podcast, it should not come as a surprise that I’ve gone from seeking stories to this place where stories find me.

Sharing stories is the flip side of the story-coin and I love both faces.

Sometime last year a few subscribers asked me, “What do we call people who subscribe to Adiaha’s lounge?” I didn’t have an answer, but it made me realise something I never did prior—we’ve successfully built a virtual get-away spot, You (who is subscribed) and I have.

We found a name: ALian.

This year we birthed a beautiful baby, our podcast, the healthy ALian.
We have two published episodes and 115 total plays as of the time of this writing.

Adiaha’s lounge has one aim to spread the gospel of health and wholeness.
If you subscribe today, you’ll join 600+ other persons following this journey of health and wholeness. Subscription is free and only requires your email address.

I’ll tell you this, on some nights when nothing makes sense I visit the lounge and in the words I stumble on there’s always an abundance of joy, peace and strength

You really should subscribe.

Till I write to you again,
Emem ye nsonidem (peace and good health), ALian. 💜

We are alike in more ways than you know, it's why this blog exists. Every entry is my attempt to show you that your body has ability to heal from all forms of trauma and that the sound of your laughter and joy do not have to be visitors to you. Every entry is an attempt to remind you that peace and wholeness are attainable. I hope you find home here, and I hope, like me, that you fancy dodo, bread and brown pages. Subscribe already. ❤️

  1. Beautiful small beginnings becoming collosal in a short period of time and I’m glad I hopped on, probably not early enough but it’s been impactful enough..
Happy anniversary on so many levels..
