Gratitude.

Today on #Gratefulweekends:

Once upon a time, there was a little fish. One day, it swam to a big fish and said “show me the way to the ocean”.
The big fish said “this is the ocean”, to which it replied “this? This is just water.”

-Soul (2020).

Sometimes what we are looking for is the extraordinary we must create from our ordinary. We must actively give ourselves to discovering the extraordinary. And nothing adds the “extra” to ordinary like gratitude.

Take a moment to reflect. Your “water” might just be your “ocean”.

I love to write to you. 💜

Emem ye ifure.

Every entry is my attempt to show you that your body has ability to heal from all forms of trauma and that the sound of your laughter and joy do not have to be visitors to you. Every entry is an attempt to remind you that peace and wholeness are attainable. I hope you find home here, and I hope, like me, that you fancy dodo, bread and brown pages. Subscribe already. ❤️
